Privacy policy

This site was built to leave as little behind as possible. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from other companies, and stores nothing in your browser. The only thing it ever sends is the call back form, and only when you press send.

This policy was last updated on October 26, 2026.

This site is published by Usher Law Group, P.C., 1600 Sheepshead Bay Rd, Suite 203, Brooklyn, NY 11235. You can reach us at (718) 484-7510 or info@usherlegal.com.

Some of the people who read this site share a phone or a computer with the person who hurt them. So this policy is written plainly, and it says only what is true of this site today.

What this site does not do

  • No cookies. This site sets none, of any kind.
  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no equivalent. We do not count visitors or follow anyone from page to page.
  • No tracking scripts. No advertising pixels, no social media buttons, no chat widget, no embedded maps and no outside video players.
  • No third-party fonts or libraries. The fonts and every script are served from this site itself. Reading a page here does not make your browser contact Google or any other company.
  • Nothing stored in your browser. No local storage, no session storage, no saved form answers. The private screener keeps your answers in the open tab only, and they are gone when the tab closes.
  • Nothing in the address bar. Pages do not put your answers or choices into the web address, so they do not show up in your history that way.
  • No referrer. Each page asks your browser not to tell other sites that you came from here when you follow a link out.

None of this erases your browser history. A page you visit is still recorded on your device. How to clear it, and what Quick Exit can and cannot do, is on staying safe online.

What the call back form sends, and to whom

The private call back form asks only for what we need to reach you safely: a name (any name), a safe phone number or email, whether it is safe to leave a message, the times that are safe, the language you prefer, and whether you have an immigration court date (yes, no or not sure). It does not ask for your story, your immigration number, your address or the other person's name.

When you press send, the form sends only the fields shown on it to FormSubmit, a form delivery service, which delivers them by email to the firm inbox, info@usherlegal.com. FormSubmit handles the message in the course of delivering it, and its own terms apply to that step. No copy goes to anyone else.

  • No confirmation email to you. We do not send anything to the address you give, so nothing lands in an inbox someone else may read. The thank-you message appears on the screen instead.
  • Nothing is kept in your browser. After you send, the form does not save what you typed.

A form is not privileged until you are a client

Attorney-client privilege protects communications with a lawyer who represents you. Sending a form does not make us your lawyers. We treat what you send as confidential and share it with no one, but until we and you sign a written retainer agreement, the legal protection is different. Email also travels across networks we do not control. If you would rather not write anything down, call (718) 484-7510 from a phone you trust.

Server logs

Like any web host, the company that hosts this site keeps a short technical log of requests. A log entry typically records an IP address, a time, the page requested and the browser your device reports. The host uses these logs to keep the site running. We do not use them to build a profile of anyone, and we do not try to identify individual visitors from them.

Quick Exit

When you press Quick Exit, or Esc twice, this tab is replaced with a weather search on Google and a second tab opens to the same search. That search page belongs to Google, and Google's own privacy terms apply to it. This site sends Google nothing about you or about the page you were on.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with lead generators, marketing companies, data brokers or other law firms. What you send us goes to the attorneys and staff at this firm. We will disclose information only where a court order or a law requires it, and if we receive a demand about a visitor or a client, we will resist it to the extent the law allows and tell the person affected unless we are legally barred from doing so.

We never contact the person who hurt you, and we never confirm to anyone whether a particular person has written to us.

How to have your information deleted

Call (718) 484-7510 or email info@usherlegal.com and ask us to delete what you sent. Tell us the name and the phone number or email you used, so we can find it. If writing to us is not safe, call. We will delete it and confirm in the way you choose.

There are two limits. If we already represent you, we keep your file for as long as the rules governing attorney files require. And if a matter is in active litigation, we may have to preserve material until it ends. Otherwise an inquiry that did not become a case is deleted on request.

Children

This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through this website. If you believe a child sent us information through this site, tell us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

We link to government sources such as USCIS and to the firm's other websites. Once you follow a link off this site, this policy stops applying and the other site's policy takes over. Other sites, including government sites, may use cookies and analytics and may log your visit.

Changes to this policy

If we change what this site collects or how we handle it, we will change this page first and update the date at the top, with a plain statement of what changed.

Questions: call (718) 484-7510 or email info@usherlegal.com. See also the disclaimer.
