Mitchell Bromberg, Esq.
Mitchell Bromberg's practice centers on deportation defense, detained clients, bond proceedings, appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and motions to reopen removal orders, along with U visas, family immigration, asylum and citizenship.
Current as of October 2026. We re-check this page every quarter and after any change in the law.

Mr. Bromberg earned a bachelor's degree in political science and his law degree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He was admitted in New Jersey in 2023 and in New York in 2024.
Most of what he does happens on short clocks. A detained docket sets deadlines in days. A bond hearing is often the first thing a family needs. Appeals to the Board and motions to reopen run on fixed deadlines that do not wait for anyone. His practice also includes U visas, family immigration, asylum and citizenship applications.
On this site's subject, his work is where abuse and immigration court meet: survivors who are in removal proceedings or in ICE custody, survivors who already have a removal order and need a motion to reopen, and survivors whose better path is a U visa because the abuser was not a citizen or permanent resident.
